Gears in a Lightbulb shape | Mind Mechanics Mental Health | Indiana

Providers at Mind Mechanics are dedicated and committed to partnering with clients to improve their mental and physical well-being. Helping clients improve their mental health is a passion for both Kimberly and Kristin, co-founders of

Mind Mechanics.

They each believe a person's mental health affects every aspect of an individual's life. When a client's mental health is not addressed that individual is often unable to function to their full potential. By using collaborative expertise, and evidenced-based knowledge the providers at Mind Mechanics can help you reach your goal of better mental and physical well-being.

From the beginning of each client's journey moving towards the goal of achieving mental wellness, Mind Mechanics providers will be there for support and encouragement along the way.

1 in 5 Adults Will Experience Mental Illness Each Year.

Accurate Diagnosis

Mind Mechanics will offer both in-person and virtual services to clients in Indiana.  Board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP's) will provide confidential, timely, compassionate, individualized evidence-based care to clients with mental health disorders that include:

  • Sexual Dysfunction

  • Mood Disorders

  • Obesity-Weight Loss

  • as well as other mental health disorders

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder

  • Sleeping Disorders

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Medication Management

Each client will have an individualized plan of care developed after each visit which will include medication management. Achieving mental health wellness often includes a combination of therapeutic interventions that will be carefully determined based on the data obtained during the initial assessment and follow-up assessments of each client. Medications will be prescribed and modified according to individualized diagnoses and needs.

The providers at Mind Mechanics do not routinely prescribe benzodiazepines and will not prescribe them for daily long-term use as this is not evidence-based safe practice. Should the client report they are currently prescribed benzodiazepines, the providers will work to decrease the dose with the goal of benzodiazepine discontinuation.

Timely Care

Waiting an extended amount of time to be treated for mental health disorders can be detrimental to one's well-being. Currently, it is not unusual for clients to have to wait 3 months or longer to be seen by a specialized provider in mental health. Mind Mechanics understands the need for easy scheduling of appointments and timely responses to clients seeking treatment for mental health disorders. It is our goal to schedule clients for initial visits within 4 weeks of a request. Follow-up appointments will be scheduled according to the needs of each client.
